Inspired by BDK Gris Charnel Extrait, it opens with aromatic cardamom, soft fig and dark black tea before melting into a refined heart of iris, bourbon vetiver and cistus. The dry down is creamy and addictive, with sandalwood, Madagascar vanilla, tonka bean, cedar and patchouli creating a rich, smoky warmth that feels modern, intimate and expensive.
It has that “cashmere coat, dim lighting, private members’ lounge” energy, elegant without being obvious.
